Elahs New Treasure Chest, And Bassinet.

Here's Elahs new treasure chest. It was Sarahs when she was little. Sarahs mom redid everything on it just about. She painted the pictures, letters, and put new fabric on the inside. It looks awesome.
Also instead of getting a Pack N Play with the bassinet like we planed on getting, we just decided to get her a bassinet. Which is good cause it saved us some money and it wont take up as much room in our bedroom.

Moses Basket

A few months ago, my wife and her friend Janelle went to the Kiwanis Thrift store here in Black Mountain to look for some baby clothes.
Janelle happened to find this moses basket. It wasn't in this good of shape though and to tell you the truth was kinda ugly. But they got it anyways cause Sarahs mom is awesome at restoring stuff like this. The best part was they got it for free. Sarahs mom did a really good job fixing it up. She got rid of the old fabric that was on it and put this owl fabric in its place.

Baby Shower.

Last saturday was my wifes baby shower, and I wasn't the only guy there.
I had my Dad,Uncle,Brother, and also had Nathan there thank goodness.
It was good, the food was good, and Sarah had a really good time, and thats all that matters. Me, on the other hand, I was an absolute nervus wreck. Like I said in my last post, I hate to be around alot of people. And believe me it was bad. But all in all it was a good baby shower, and we got alot of stuff we needed, and thats a big load off of my shoulders. I believe the best part of the whole thing for me was the face my grandma made when everyone had to guess what kind of chocolate was in the diaper. I really wish I had taken a picture of it. It was priceless.
The next day at work, my boss asked me how it went, and I told her,"Well, it was nerve wrecking and I'm glad its over."And she says,"Sorry I couldn't make it, but we are gonna throw you a shower here at work." So here we go again. But I am thankful that they think enough of me to do it.
We also went to Sarahs appointment yesterday. Everything still looks great, Elah is healthy and has a strong heartbeat.

Finaly Felt Her Kick!

Last night, me and sarah was layin in bed watchin tv and elah started kicking......alot, and had to. sarah put my hand on her belly and she stoped......ugh...... i was beginning to give up when she kicked my hand hard. you have no idea how excited i was. after that she wouldnt stop kickin my hand. it was awesome.

Up Coming Baby Shower.

Sarah is now 29wks along in her pregnancy which means.......The baby shower.

Its gonna be this coming Saturday and from the looks of it, Ill be the only guy there.... yay me.....

My dad and my brother was supposed to be there but of coarse they both have to work. just my luck.

But at least there will be all sorts of good food.

I'm excited about it somewhat and part of me just wants it over with.

If you know me, then you know i hate to be around alot of people especially if its a bunch of older women giving me hugs cause Ima be a daddy.

I'm Ready To Wipe Butts All Nite, And Change Diapers Everyday!
